Daniel’s Jewelers, a top-ten U.S. jeweler, runs a complex in-store credit program. Customers apply for credit, get approved, and use it online or in-store. Migrating from Magento to Shopify created a challenge: Shopify’s checkout is rigid, and standard payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal don’t support this workflow.

Through custom Shopify app development, we built a Shopify credit app that supports the entire financing process. From application to approval to checkout integration, the system replicates the in-store experience online. Working closely with Shopify, we found a way to maintain functionality without compromising the customer experience.

For Stadium Goods, that meant replatforming from a custom-built system to Shopify, without losing the serialized inventory or consignment logic that powers their marketplace. We launched right before the holiday rush, hit every deadline, and saw conversion climb 80%.

Tireplanet is one of VAAN’s most ambitious Shopify builds. The challenge was to help customers find the right tire across millions of SKUs and multiple vehicle types.

Our solution included:

• Typesense-powered search with multi-dimensional filters (size, model, load, price, inventory).
• Vehicle lookup and VIN search for instant compatibility results.
• AutoSync integration to visualize tire fit across vehicles.
• Complex shipping and installation workflows, supporting mobile and local installers.
• Custom backend integration to dynamically sync pricing and availability.

Next, we’re rolling out natural language search, allowing shoppers to find the right tire by typing questions in plain language.
