For U Beauty, science is the product.
Built around its proprietary SIREN Capsule Technology and a philosophy of doing more with less, the brand has carved out a distinct position in luxury skincare. As it prepared to scale, including a retail launch with Sephora, its digital presence needed to better reflect that world.
VAAN partnered with Ubeauty to create a new foundation built on a Structured Beauty design direction. A refined, image-led system designed to bring clarity to the brand's science while elevating every interaction

A premium brand with a compelling science story needed a digital experience that could communicate both luxury and credibility, without leaning on either at the expense of the other.
Solution
VAAN developed a design direction called Structured Beauty: minimal, image-led, and intentional. Science-backed messaging was woven into every corner of the store, from the homepage through to the PDP.
Result
A/B testing against the old site showed an 8% lift in Revenue Per Visitor, a 15% increase in Add-to-Cart, and a 14% RPV improvement for new users, timed with their Sephora retail launch.

We rebuilt the visual system around minimal, image-led layouts with strong editorial pacing. The interface prioritizes whitespace, controlled hierarchy, and precise typography to create space for product and science to land with more authority.
Keywords like aspirational, maverick, and transformative guided the visual language, while the system itself stayed disciplined: generous whitespace, precise typography, and an editorial pace that lets the product breathe.
Dedicated Science Page
A standalone page built around SIREN Capsule Technology, Ubeauty's hero ingredient story, giving the brand's science a home worthy of its complexity.
Slide-out cart with product animation
An editorial touch that elevates the add-to-cart moment. The homepage animation brings the product to life in a way that feels premium, not promotional.
Science-backed messaging throughout
From the homepage to the PLP and PDP, credibility cues and ingredient storytelling are woven into the full shopping journey, not siloed to a single page.
Luxury positioning at scale
